It's me, Georgie Mac! I'm a non-binary visual artist, zine-maker, and PhD researcher based in Glasgow. Through drawing, zine-making, and physical performance, my work emerges from encounters with more-than-human worlds: the vegetal, the microscopic, the lithic, slippery beings that transgress ecological boundaries and trouble connective tissues. I make pictures with paint and with my body, combining sequential images and utterances that give these multispecies encounters visual form. My practice often produces poetic narratives, odd-bodies, and hyper-niche fan works. I also LOVE printing my zines with a Risograph! Eye-popping inks and lumpy textures make my zines feel alive in your hands. Pick one up, and you might feel it wriggle. |
